Diarmuid Hogan
President & CEO
Born and educated in Dublin and at Columbia University Graduate School of Business in New York, Diarmuid Hogan has made the U.S. his home and is President and CEO of the insurance/investment firm Global Excess Partners and its affliliated operating company GEP II, LLC. Mr. Hogan's other business interests include being a partner in DMH Partners and vice-chairman of Ambridge Partners LLC.

Mr.Hogan started his career in business as president of Canadian operations with AIG in Toronto. He has held a number of positions over the years, including international re-insurance senior vice-president at Johnson and Higgins, senior vice-president at the Home Insurance Company, and chairman of the Commonwealth Insurance Company.

He is a director of Boys Hope Girls Hope, an organization that provides long-term solutions to the critical needs of today's promising youth who find themselves at risk in intolerable family or community settings. Diarmuid and his partners own the long-running and highly successful television show "Out of Ireland," which is the largest Irish-American media outlet in the U.S. Mr. Hogan was presented with the Ellis Island Medal of Honor in 2004, an award recognizing distinguished Americans who have made significant contributions to the nation's heritage, sanctioned by the U.S. Congress.

Diarmuid, a keen golfer, is a member of Sleepy Hollow Country Club in New York, the Cliffs in South Carolina, the K Club, Royal Dublin and Portmarnock golf clubs in Ireland.

Mary Pat Thurston
Partner & COO
Mary Pat Thurston, a native New Yorker, is a founding partner of both Global Excess Partners, LLC and GEP II, LLC. As Partner and COO, Mary Pat's role focuses on marketing and product development. She has played a large part in the expansion and growth of the GEP brand and has been responsible for the addition of five new binding authorities for the company as well as the renegotiation of current binding authorities.

In her position as a founding member of Global Excess Partners, LLC, Mary Pat fostered the development of Ambridge Partners, LLC. Ambridge Partners, LLC is a specialized managing general underwriter of Transactional, Management Liability, Contingency and Specialty Management Liability Insurance products.

Ms. Thurston is also a co-owner of Beau's Hope, Inc., which owns the "Out of Ireland" television show. "Out of Ireland" is America's #1 Irish television program with thirty nine weekly airings and is carried in 6.3 million Irish-American homes.

Mary Pat owned and managed a successful personal real estate portfolio of New York City real estate from 1980 to 1996.

Ms. Thurston began her career in the business development department of the one of the country's largest engineering and architectural firms, where she quickly rose after developing a system to streamline, monitor and evaluate all proposals for new business. Over the years, this led Ms. Thurston into providing similar services for a diverse group of companies ranging from travel to publishing.

Lawrence L. Drake
Chairman
Lawrence L. Drake is Chairman of GEP II, LLC. Mr. Drake is also a partner in the firm of Drake, Meyer and Hogan, LLC ("DMH"), which has investments in business providing underwriting management and distribution services for specialized insurance and financial products.

Mr. Drake is a retired Managing Director of Marsh, Inc., where his responsibilities included chairmanship of Marsh, Inc's Innovation Council, management of insurance market relationships, and involvement in the structuring and placement of insurance programs for the largest corporations in the world. He is a former Board Member of several industry trade groups including the Council of Insurance and Brokers. He is an Emeritis Trustee of Whitman College and former Vice Chairman of the Arts and Business Council.
Timothy J. Guiltinan
Executive Vice President
Tim Guiltinan joined GEPII, LLC in November 2001 as Senior Vice President. He is an approved named correspondent for GEP's Lloyd's Inland Marine Facility and Middle Market facility. He is also an approved correspondent for the International Insurance Company of Hannover Limited.

Tim heads both the Middle Market and Inland Marine Departments for GEP. His responsibilities also include development of Specialized Property Programs and new facilities for GEP. Mr. Guiltinan is licensed as a broker in all 50 states.

Tim has more than 30 years experience as a Property and Inland Marine Underwriter. His responsibilities have included overseeing Inland Marine Operations for both the US and Canada.

Prior to joining GEP, Tim worked held various senior positions at AIG, Reliance National and Johnson & Higgins. Mr. Guiltinan was a contributing editor to Inland Marine Insurance, Volume 1 published in 1987 in association with IMUA. Tim is a past Skipper of the New York Mariners Club. Tim has participated on several committees for the IMUA, including the Educational Committee. Tim is a past member of the Insurance Risk Management Institute. He is a proud graduate of Manhattan College, Bronx. NY.
